Sustainability
- We own a hot water solar system for several years.
- Our heating is powered by wood pellets.
- About 5 years ago we bought a photovoltaic system so that we could produce our own electricity, especially in the snow-free months, and thus reduce our carbon footprint.
- The entire house has been converted to LED lighting.
- At breakfast, jam, honey and butter are not individually packaged in plastic.
- Hand towels and bath towels are not changed daily, but only at the request of the guests, in order to minimize water and electricity consumption.
- Waste separation is also on our agenda to support the environment.
- We buy our food locally, such as coffee from a roastery in Zell am See, eggs from St. Martin, meat and potatoes also come from Austria.
- In every room you will find hand soap, shampoo/shower gel in a glass dispenser, organic cotton buds and washable cotton makeup remover pads.
- Lemonades are delivered in glass bottles.
- In every room we have glasses and a water jug for our excellent tap water.

We implement further sustainable measures in our hotel. We pay attention to efficient energy use, use energy-efficient appliances and lighting systems and promote recycling. We attach great importance to the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products and offer our guests the opportunity to change towels and bed linen on request in order to reduce water consumption.

Our sustainable philosophy goes beyond energy supply. We work closely with local suppliers to source regional and seasonal products for our kitchen. In this way, we support the local economy while reducing CO2 emissions from transporting food.

By using photovoltaic energy, we can not only reduce our operating costs, but also offer our guests an environmentally friendly experience. With us, you can enjoy your stay with a clear conscience, as we are actively working to minimize our ecological footprint.
We warmly invite you to experience our sustainable approach and feel well looked after when staying at our hotel. Together we can make a positive contribution to protecting our environment. Thank you for accompanying and supporting us on our sustainable journey!
